State Fire Marshal supports 46 incidents in 2026 mobilization

The State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO) has authorized the All-Risk Mobilization Program to support 46 incidents as of September 28, 2026.

This program is crucial for assisting local fire jurisdictions when incidents exceed their response capabilities. The mobilization program processes reimbursements for eligible costs, which have accumulated to an estimated $41 million this year, funded through the Washington State Disaster Response Account.
