Spokane County has begun mailing out ballots for the upcoming general election. Voters in the county should start receiving their ballots in the mail as part of the election process.
Election day is Tuesday, November 3. Ballots need to be turned into a ballot drop box or postmarked in the mail by that day in order to be processed.
One of the most prominent votes on the ballot this election is the race for the 5th Congressional District between Republican Michael Baumgartner and Democrat Carmela Conroy. The Spokane Public Schools levy-replacement and the millionaires tax will also be on the Nov 3 ballot.
Voting officials say to check mailboxes to ensure you receive your ballot in time to participate in the election.
