The youth pheasant hunting season in Idaho is set to begin on Thursday, October 8, and will continue through October 14. This hunting opportunity is available to youth aged 17 years and younger who hold an Idaho hunting license. Individuals aged 18 or older are not permitted to hunt during this youth-specific season.
In addition to the hunting season, Idaho Fish and Game will be stocking more than 210,000 catchable-sized rainbow trout in various lakes and ponds across the state throughout October. This initiative aims to enhance fishing opportunities for anglers in the region.
