Dust storm closes I-90 near Ritzville, multiple collisions reported

Interstate 90 in the Ritzville area has been fully closed due to a dust storm causing zero visibility and multiple collisions. The Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported that the incident occurred at approximately 2:09 PM today, leading to a complete blockage of the road. Multiple state patrol units from Moses Lake and Spokane are either en route or already present.

In addition to I-90, State Route 261 south of Ritzville has also been closed for the same reasons. The Washington State Department of Transportation (DOT) and Adams County Sheriff's Office are assisting at the scene. There are no detours available at this time, and the estimated time for reopening the roads remains unknown.
